CSU Scholar News
Lili Dong, EECS
Dr. Lili Dong is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). Dr. Dong’s research focuses on control systems and applications, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), regulation of power systems, electric power assist steering systems (EPAS), path following of marine surface vessels, and 3D electronic printing.
Dr. Dong and her research group established a 3D electronic printing lab at CSU in 2015 and are actively collaborating with local companies and academic institutions on circuit board printing. This lab makes CSU the first and only academic institute in Ohio that owns and operates electronic additive manufacturing systems. The lab allows CSU students to produce electronic prototype circuits with fine feature detail on non-flat substrates.
Dr. Dong has published more than 40 research papers since 2005, and has advised 20 doctoral, master’s, and honors students in the past 13 years. She is the chair of IEEE Control Systems Society, Cleveland Chapter, an associate editor of ISA Transactions, and a society review chair for American Control Conference.
